Vertical farming and growing your meat not killing animals

...so farmers in the UK are looking to GM to produce more per acre of ground; but are they behind the times, countries are doing vertical farming... makes sense for fast growing plants like lettuce which can be easily harvested by moving the plants to your height! Any pesticides or otherwise are contained and don't pollute nature.

..and will we be eating meat without the animal so no gristle, bone or butchering, and lots of foie gras with no cruelty (just need to perfect getting the nutrients from plants rather than serum and work on the price, the first hamburger was $330k;
